Canada Vein Clinics Whitby, at 220 Dundas St West, Unit 402, provides diagnostic vein ultrasound for patients across Whitby, Ajax and Durham Region with varicose veins, spider veins, leg swelling, or aching, heavy legs.

A duplex ultrasound shows how the veins in your legs are working, and it is the first step in every treatment plan. A vein physician then reviews your results with you, either virtually or at one of our procedure clinics. If treatment is recommended, it is performed at our Toronto (Bay St) or Richmond Hill procedure clinic, with options including endovenous laser ablation (EVLT), ClariVein, VenaSeal and VeinLite-guided sclerotherapy.

With a doctor’s referral, the diagnostic ultrasound and physician consultation are covered by OHIP; without a referral, patients pay for them. Vein treatment itself is not covered by OHIP. A Health Spending Account can be used, and payment plans are available.
