Dr. Culligan has been an associate at Canada Vein Clinics since 2019. He is a lecturer in the University of Toronto Department of Family and Community Medicine and has been an emergency physician at the University Health Network’s Toronto General and Toronto Western Hospitals since 2002. He has twenty years experience in the diagnosis and management of acute and chronic vascular diseases, in both clinic and emergency medicine settings, with significant experience in invasive therapies. His training includes certification in ultrasonographic peripheral vascular duplex imaging to diagnose and treat chronic venous insufficiency.
Dr. Culligan has been extensively trained by Dr. Matz to use his clinical skills to diagnose and treat varicose and spider veins at Canada Vein Clinics. He successfully performs treatments which are offered at Canada Vein Clinics including VenaSeal, Clarivein, EVLA and sclerotherapy.
Dr. Culligan is a member, in good standing, with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario, College of Family Physicians of Canada and American Vein & Lymphatic Society.
